Geena is among the world's most renowned and successful Movie Actresses. Geena Davis was born the 21st of January, 1956 at Wareham Massachusetts United States. Actress and Mensa actor who played roles in Thelma & Louise Beetlejuice and Stuart Little. The actress was nominated to receive a Golden Globe Award for her role as Dottie Hinson in A League of Their Own and for her part as Muriel Pritchett in 1988's Drama The Accidental Tourist. She was awarded an Academy Award for Best Supporting actor. She appeared as a main role in Beetlejuice which was an American horror comedy film from 1988. It was written and starred by Tim Burton. Davis was awarded numerous honors and accolades for acting roles in films and television as well being an active activist to support women in the film industry. Davis was captivated by music from a very young age. She took piano and flute lessons and was able to play the organ when she was a teenager that she could serve as an organist at her Congregationalist church in Wareham. The Pleasant Hill area of California was where she earned her bachelors degree in art and then recovered to play as a strike player in Diablo Valley College. After achieving Junior College All-American accolades, she transferred to Arizona State University. However, her doubts led her to quit soccer. After that, she attended California State University Fullerton. In Fullerton, she earned a Bachelors in Arts that emphasized business and human resource management. After her studies she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting modeling and promotion work. In Los Angeles, she ran across a call to audition for W.W.E. Her performance was impressive to the talent scouts with her talents and receive a 4-week test period after the call was discovered by accident.
